Lisa Cichelly
Lisa has been active in the Canadian film and television industry since 1993, contributing to over 150 hours of content for theatrical and television release. Experienced in both scripted and unscripted genres, she moves between series’ and feature films with ease and is skilled in financial and creative leadership from development through to delivery.
Lisa is a Canadian Screen Award nominated writer (Polar Bear Town) and line produced CBC’s The Porter (credited as Producer) which garnered nineteen CSA nominations and twelve wins. Lisa proudly helped to develop Polar Bear Town for OLN and Smithsonian in the USA and was the supervising producer for six seasons of the Slice hit series, At the End of My Leash. Lisa was instrumental in securing popular lifestyle host, Gail Vaz-Oxlade and creating the format for the syndicated series, Til Debt Do Us Part. She was a story editor and writer on Polar Bear Town for both OLN and Smithsonian USA and served as a contributing story editor on the feature length documentary, Everest Dark for Documentary Channel and Kingdom of the Polar Bears for National Geographic Wild. While currently enjoying the special work / life balance of line producing television movies, Lisa in also attempting to write a feature script and is in active development on a couple of social justice documentaries.
