During the 5-day festival, RIFFA has a dedicated screen open at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre to serve children, youth and adults with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities and long-term mental illness. Wascana Rehabilitation Center is one of the largest rehabilitation centres in Saskatchewan and is home to 307 individuals. This voluntary RIFFA program is free to individuals living within the facility and their family. It is designed to provide access to the film festival for individuals that would otherwise face multiple societal barriers to participation.
