Michael Robinson has nine international awards for directing television, including a BAFTA and Prix Jeunesse for the BBC series ‘Serious Arctic’, and a Leo in Canada. He has directed over 60 sitcom episodes, several short films, a low budget feature, and heaps of magazine and documentary films for the BBC. As an actor he has over 90 film and television acting credits. He is the former Advanced Directing teacher at the Vancouver Film School and is currently teaching Acting and Film Making at the Story Institute, as well as ski instructing in winter and taking care of a son with autism as a single father.
