Welcome to the Regina International Film Festival & Awards (RIFFA) Foundation Inc. The RIFFA Foundation is situated on Treaty 4 lands with a presence in Treaty 6. These are the territories of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis/Michif Nation. Today, these lands continue to be the shared Territory of many diverse peoples from near and far.
Regina International Film Festival & Awards (RIFFA) Foundation Inc. is a federally incorporated and registered charitable cultural arts organization offering programs to enrich the community while celebrating film and diversity. These programs include the Regina International Film Festival and Awards, RIFFA Bridge Screen: Connecting Through Cinema, RIFFA Virtual Gateway Program, RIFFA Annual Winter Screenings, RIFFA Academy (the educational arm of the Foundation) and its various educational offerings such as LOOK: A Mental Health Film Initiative (Digital Filmmaking Basic & Advanced), and RIFFA Fellowship Programs.
The RIFFA Foundation concept was launched in 2014 (Feb 25th) and officially established in 2015. It has been actively serving Saskatchewan for over a decade.

RIFFA seeks to build capacity in the cinematic arts that encourage inclusion, human connection, innovation, and self-expression through storytelling.

- Evaluate film festival submissions by way of an independent jury and rewarding those of highest merit through an annual awards ceremony.

- Promote Regina and Saskatchewan as a desired festival destination for Canadian and International filmmakers and audiences.
