Wholistic Conversations on Liver Wellness: An Indigenous Perspective
The DocuStory gives visual voice to wholistic awareness surrounding the importance of the liver in our wellness. Health and media researchers partnered with Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, healthcare professionals, a social influencer, and young people with lived experience to co-create an approach to liver wellness and hepatitis C focusing on balance and healing.
Liver disease and hepatitis C rates are rising and culturally connected resources are integral to shifting the disparity narrative.
