2026 LOOK Program Premiere Screening
The LOOK program provides individuals living with mental health challenges an opportunity to express themselves creatively by making films in a safe, fun and supportive environment. This RIFFA initiative recently guided a cohort of 10 students through an immersive curriculum of classroom lectures and hands-on camera workshops. Throughout the program, industry professionals volunteer their time to teach and mentor students as they bring their unique visions to life.
This year’s deeply moving student productions explore a wide array of personal and societal topics, including sexual abuse, cognitive disorders, institutionalization, societal expectations, artistic expression, and recovery.

Because these films explore sensitive themes such as sexual abuse and institutionalization, the MacKenzie Art Gallery and RIFFA encourage our audience to prioritize their well-being and engage with these powerful stories at their own comfort level.
