2 black high school boys get caught in the wrong place & time by the police. They escape but, their freedom does not last long. My deepest fear is becoming another statistic on the news. I sometimes will imagine myself overcoming scenarios in which I would need to survive. CUFFED is one of those scenarios. The idea or message of the film is to consider that there are many black people or people of color that feel as though they are living in a perpetual time loop of trauma on a daily basis.
