Set in a remote village, the film follows a young tribal boy struggling to memorize an English poem about disappearing voices and languages. After hearing his grandmother sing an ancient tribal song, its melody stays with him. The next day, as he stands punished outside his classroom, the song echoes within him symbolizing the fading yet enduring spirit of a forgotten culture.

She is worried about her grandmother’s safety amid the invasion of Ukraine. In this intergenerational conversation across time and space, the granddaughter tries to rethink family memory and her own ethnic identity, break the endless cycle of collective trauma and reflect on the meaning of human life.
