Brad Quenville is a Vancouver-based producer, director and writer specializing in factual programming in a TV career that began in 1987 at the BBC, where he became a director and developed the documentary series DISABLED LIVES. Since then Brad has developed, written and directed documentaries and doc series for Knowledge Network, CBC, Movie Channel, National Geographic, CTV and Global TV, including: STUNTDAWGS, RESERVATION SOLDIERS, VANITY INSANITY, YOU, ME AND THE KIDS, FALL OUT!, IN BJOSSA’S WAKE, WELCOME BACK TO MOLLY’S REACH and INNOCENT TRICKS. For Animal Planet US he developed, filmed and field produced two episodes of BLOOD DOLPHINS. Brad created, wrote and directed THE DOLPHIN DEALER, which launched Doc Zone and later produced and directed VOLUNTEERS UNLEASHED the last documentary in that series. He also directed several series including Discovery Channel’s HIGHWAY THRU HELL and PYROS as well as History Channel’s ICE PILOTS NWT, for which he was nominated for a Gemini award. Brad was the showrunner, lead director and writer on Animal Planet’s WILD BEAR RESCUE and won a Leo Award for best documentary writing on that series. Through his company Q Camera Productions Ltd, Brad recently produced, directed, wrote and story edited GRIZZLY REWILD for CBC’s THE NATURE OF THINGS.
